Randy Neugebauer
As the Congressman for the 19th District of Texas, I represent a large stretch of West Texas country from Lubbock to Abilene. It’s my privilege to serve some of the most conservative voters in America. We Texans pride ourselves on our pioneering heritage. And where I come from, Phyllis Schlafly is considered not just a pioneer, but a trailblazer.
Phyllis has been the voice of conservatism for generations, speaking out for the right to life, the importance of family, and our most cherished values. For that reason alone, Phyllis would be an inspirational example. However, Phyllis has done much more than speak out for what is right—she has galvanized a multitude of people to do the same.
In this day and age, it is all too easy to share your views with the world. When an audience is mistaken for influence, pundits can be mistaken for leaders. Phyllis is no pundit though—she is truly a leader of the modern conservative movement. Her ability to rally others to follow her has inspired thousands to join the conservative cause. She has been especially successful in reaching young people, mobilizing a new force for the conservative movement that will continue her work in the decades ahead.
As someone who strongly believes that every life is a gift from God, I am particularly thankful for Phyllis’ defense of the unborn. She has been an unshakable voice for the unborn and those who can’t speak for themselves. As a fellow pro-life advocate, I appreciate her strong conviction and passion for the greater humanitarian cause. Her efforts have saved countless innocent lives. Every child deserves a chance, and Phyllis’ efforts bring this vision closer to a reality every day.
Phyllis Schlafly is torchbearer, who tirelessly pursues her vision for America. She has blazed a trail for conservatives to follow, and continues to guide us towards the moral high ground. Her work is an inspiration, and I’m honored to work alongside her to champion Christian values.
