Heritage Supreme Court
From Phyllis Schlafly Eagles
Heritage proposed eight justices for inclusion in Trump's list of candidates for the Supreme Court, none of whom is a pro-life woman. Six of Heritage's recommendations were included in Trump's published list:[1]
- William Pryor Jr. (Judge, 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals) - rejected by evangelicals based on Pryor's record of repeatedly ruling for the liberal social agenda
- Diane Sykes (Judge, 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals) - has repeatedly ruled for the pro-abortion side
- Steven Colloton (Judge, 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals) - ruled for the KKK but then voted with pro-aborts and against pro-lifers on an analogous issue
- Raymond Gruender (Judge, 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals)
- Brett Kavanaugh (Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit) - not included in Trump's list
- Don Willett (Justice, Texas Supreme Court) - stealth record, lacks leadership on social issues
- Paul Clement (43rd solicitor general of the United States, currently in private practice) - not included in Trump's list
- Mike Lee (U.S. Senator, Utah)
